Internet services and BBC iPlayer upgrade
Once upgraded, you’ll be able to receive future software and feature updates automatically via your internet connection, so there is no need to manually update products to get the latest software upgrades.
BBC iPlayer, can be accessed easily and quickly through the ‘red button’, as long as a network connection is established. You’ll have access to on-demand BBC programming and films, as well as radio, through an attractive and familiar interface. So now you can watch live BBC TV or catch up on the last 7 days of BBC programmes. In order to connect your DTR-HV250 to the internet you will need a USB Wireless dongle. This new software version includes fixes for the following issues, plus added features:
- Add BBC iPlayer functionality and WiFi dongle support
- Add internet software upgrade
- Reduced power consumption when not in standby
- Fix for minor problem with timer edit
- Fixed problem where subtitle did not restart following rewind
- Fix for problem which could potentially prevent unit boot
- Improve checking of guidance on record playback
- Added feedback on record to show acceptance of series selection more clearly
- Correct minor problem with search results from EPG
- Default first selected radio programme to first radio LCN
- Fix potential crash when stopping playback with subtitles
- Improve Performance of platform under high load, which could result n subtitle artefacts
To upgrade, follow these instructions;
- Check what version software is available (above) and what software you have (You can do this by viewing the manufacturing details (Menu -Service Menu- Manufacturing details))
