Reported Problem – “No Signal”: A problem has been reported in a small number of regions where certain units display “No Signal” when brought out of standby, even though they had previously received signal. Tvonics will Issue an over air download for the following models according to the below schedule.
Products affected: MDR-250, MFR-200, MFR-300

Download 1 - Start: Sept 2nd 10:00am - Finish: Sept 4th 9:00am
Download 2 - Start: Sept 21st 10:00am - Finish: Sept 23rd 9:00am

How to receive the over air Download:There are 2 options to receive the over air download
- During the periods listed above enter the menu and go to Item ‘Software Upgrade’ . Press OK and the units will automatically scan to find the software upgrade.
- Ensure that the unit is switched into standby for at least 1 hr during the period that the software download is being broadcast. It may be most successful to leave the unit in standby over night during the period where the over air download is active. To achieve this automatically overnight please carry out the following (model dependent)
- For MFR-200/300 units enter the menu, press “2” Settings and then press “7” Auto Standby. Toggle using the right arrow key to set auto standby to “On”
- For MDR-250 units enter the menu , press “2” Settings and then press “8” Update Channels. Toggle using the right arrow key to set update channels to “Automatically”
You can confirm that the over air download has been successful by entering the menu go to Item ‘Service menu’, Then Enter ‘Manufacturers details’ and the Software version should now end with the following 5 characters “M1315”
