How do i get the upgrade?
The upgrade is available via USB upgrade, download from the product support pages . If you don’t have access to a USB stick please contact our technical call centre that can provide alternative options. Don’t panic its easy, our call centre can talk you through the process if needed.

What is Dolby® surround sound?
Once upgraded TVonics DTR-HD500 and DTR-Z500HD will support premium broadcast audio formats.Offering a new dimension in captivating surround sound, it will also provide a level of future proofing so that it can also decode Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Pulse, Dolby Digital, HEAAC and all AAC bitstreams.
The Dolby multistream decoder will make it compatible with AV receivers and Home Theatre Systems. Most home theatre systems also have Dolby® Pro Logic® II, which will let you enjoy stereo programs in surround sound.
