The successful candidates will have sound working knowledge of real-time embedded software, C, C++, (Linux would be an advantage). You should also have experience of software design and methodologies (RTSASD, UML or Yourdon). You should have experience of working with configuration control and rigorous procedures (ISO 9000, CMM, etc). You should also have experience of working on relatively large projects and have an appreciation of timescale/planning constraints. You should have experience of digital TV (MPEG-2 / H.264). The successful candidates will have a sound understanding of hardware issues, an appreciation of user interface design, appreciation of commercial considerations, ability to work as part of a team, be flexible and be willing to learn. Ideally, you should hold a good degree from a recognized university or equivalent experience.

Recruitment Agencies

Recruitment Agencies may be used from time to time where exceptional candidates are found. In such circumstances, TVonics will only Pay 12.5% of the 1st years salary for any member of staff. 50% of the 12.5% shall be invoiced at the end of the first weeks employment. The final 50% shall be paid after 3 months successful employment. If a candidate leaves after less than six months employment the Recruitment Agent will be invoiced for the full 12.5%.
